So it Begins
At least for me 
I’m breaking free. Tomorrow I begin the process of becoming rid of my debt. I don’t think I will ever be able to apply for any loan or credit card without feeling the same way again. At least now I know how the system works and I can protect myself from it at all costs. I don’t want my daughter to grow up thinking that her self worth is a credit score or that the most important thing in life is saving money instead of enjoying what she can while she can. My new motto should be Work to Live – not live to work.
I can’t belive how blind I have been all these years. How I got so sucked up into it all. The best way to describe how I feel right now is through an Eddie Vedder song called SOCIETY.

Hey, I followed a link from JM (Christina-A on the debate boards). Just wondering if you’ve seen Maxed Out, it’s a documentary about the current credit system (mostly refers to the US, but has some importance for us too obviously.) We are nearing a debt-free point ourselves, just have some student loans to wrap up … and now after seeing that movie, the idea of being trapped in the credit cycle again scares the heck out of me!
No I haven’t seen that one, I’ll have to check it out

The credit system and the central banking system needs to eradicated completely IMO
